Founded in 2003 by Sylvia Anderson, Chartered MCIPD, MRSPH, BA (Hons) MIH, MSOFHT, we believe Anderson Food Hygiene Limited has earned a solid reputation for our training, professionalism, passion and client care over 8 successful years working in the UK, and internationally.

So, who is Sylvia? Well, Sylvia is the Brand. With 23 years experience, knowledge, practical ‘hands on’ skills and exceptional professional qualifications within the Hospitality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and HR industries, Sylvia’s background is varied. Roles have included: Head Chef Consultant; HR Manager; Food Training and Safety Consultant the list goes on….but more impressively these are some of the brands Sylvia has worked for during those 23 years...

The Grosvenor House Hotel London, P & 0 Cruise Liners, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Euro Disney Paris – Opening Crew Team! Haagen Dazs, TGI Fridays UK, Taj Resorts and Hotels, Crowne Plaza Hotels, GlaxoSmithKline, Food Alert, Hammersmith & West London College, LSG Sky Chefs. Channel 4. As a qualified chef Sylvia catered for special events at some amazing locations including Buckingham Palace; Royal Ascot; Kempton Park Race Course and the famous Henley Regatta to name but a few...

As a consultant, to date, her most challenging and exciting role was working with ITV on the series called ‘Dishing the Dirt’. Sylvia went undercover as their Food Hygiene Expert looking at the problem of food poisoning visiting the Dominican Republic to investigate one of the worst cases in recent times, a thousand hotels guests went down with salmonella, e-coli, campylobacter and shigella.

In her role as Food Hygiene Consultant, Sylvia managed a food promotional event in the City of London for a large Investment Bank working with the BBC 2010 MasterChef winner Dhruv Baker and runner-up Alex Rushmer.

In 2010 Sylvia was a finalist for BEST TRAINER in the 6th Annual SOFHT Awards 2010 (The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology). At these prestigious awards, Anderson Food Hygiene is proud to announce that we WON 'BEST TRAINING COMPANY IN THE UK'.

Sylvia still delivers many of the training courses herself and loves to pass on her passion; enthusiasm and knowledge to her customers...
